Event-night traffic control at Austin's marquee arena — 140+ shows a year and over 850,000 guests. Every event night reshapes Robert Dedman, Clyde Littlefield, and MLK — GBC helps keep them moving.

Game day

Texas Longhorn Game Days

From the first cone before dawn to post-game reopening — Longhorn football Saturdays close San Jacinto, Robert Dedman, Trinity, and Clyde Littlefield for crowds of 100,000+. Full-day, multi-street traffic control, seven-plus Saturdays a year.

Race day

Austin Marathon Season

Austin's biggest race days run on overnight precision — rolling closures from 3 a.m., 20+ streets down, and same-day reopenings for thousands of runners and spectators. GBC supports road-closure operations across Austin's marathon season.

Citywide contract

City of Austin

In October 2025, Austin City Council awarded GBC a share of its citywide contract for temporary traffic control device rental and pavement marking — up to $14.82M across all City departments. Registered City of Austin vendor.
